Twig Picture Frame

This is a great way to dress up a dime-store picture frame and looks really cute with an outdoor picture displayed inside of it.

Materials: Glue gun, Twigs, cheap picture frame, scissors

Total Cost: $6

Total Time: 30 minutes

Directions: You can buy the twigs at a crafts store or better yet pick them up in your backyard or park! You'll need them in different lengths, no shorter than the longest edge of your frame, i.e. if your frame is 5" x 7", your twigs shouldn't be shorter than 7". Take the glass backing out of the frame and place it on your work surface. Using the lines where the edges of the frame meet as your guide, cut the sticks to size, working your way from the outside edge in. The length will gradually get shorter; trim the sticks as needed. Glue each down at a time, placing them as close to each other as possible until one side is completed. Continue the steps on each side. Once finished, fill in any gaps. Let the frame dry for about 15 minutes before you put your picture in it.
